Good Memory Upgrade

Our Personal Computer is still in good working condition, except for the CPU. But the rest, the LCD monitor, keyboard, mouse and the headset are definitely fine. And since I am doing some freelance last year, I badly needed a new working CPU. But it left my thoughts hanging at first since we all know that the price of CPU is so expensive that I wasn’t even sure before if it will fit in our budget.

So what I did was to just settle for an assembled CPU which costs me a few thousands only. But the sad part, however, is that it has low memory. And that means, I won’t be able to store more files, like pictures, mp3 songs and other software that I want to download in my PC.

I am considering of Adding Computer RAM. Days ago, I’ve been looking for a good memory deal, but it’s just now that I finally able to find the right one, the DDR PC2700 Memory.

I am just so excited that sooner or later, I’ll be able to Add IMAC Memory in my computer as I really need to work with a smooth running techie for my job. I can’t really wait until I finally have it on my computer. It will be of great help and that’s for sure. And I am already getting excited of the downloads that I’m planning to do as soon as I have upgraded my computer’s memory.

"A cell phone is handy for kids who participate in after school activities such as sports or clubs. If the activity ends early or late, or has been canceled, kids can call their parents to inform them about the changes," added Pollak. "Additionally, children can call their parents to ask for permission should last-minute activities arise."

For parents debating whether they should buy a cell phone for their child, Pollak suggests they ask themselves the following questions*:

• Is my child involved in extracurricular activities?
• Could the activities get canceled or finish early?
• Is it difficult to find a public phone where my child attends those activities?

I have been thinking what could be the best Beach manga character I would be. I guess I would love to use the name Saccha as my own manga character. Windows Vulnerability is Animated Cursors

Users who work with the latest versions of Windows should be aware that they are at a great risk of being attacked by hackers. This statement was made by Microsoft's officials. There is a certain vulnerability in the operating system that can affect all recent versions of Windows, this includes Vista. In a security advisory the company's representatives stated that Windows' software is flawed in a way it operates with its animated cursors.

Microsoft's officials mentioned that an attacker might be able to take advantage of Windows' vulnerability by using a Web page or e-mail message that comprises a certain computer code.

In its advisory the company's officials stated that when viewing a Web page, previewing or reading an encoded message, or opening an e-mail attachment that includes a malware, the hacker can make the affected system to execute the code.

Often such kind of holes in the system are exploited by cybercrooks so they can make "drive-by" installations of their malware. Both spyware and remote control tools, that are able to turn personal computers into drones for the attackers, are creepingly loaded onto computers that have a certain vulnerability. This is made by tricking people to visit rigged Websites or by affecting a trusted site.

In a security alert, which was sent to the customers, McAfee said that a sample code has already been posted on the Web. The code is meant to show the vulnerability of the system. The security company mentioned that the malicious software that exploits this vulnerability "has been observed in a wild."

The feature of animated cursors is designated by the .ani suffix. However, according to Microsoft's officials, a hacker's attack won't be successful if it is constrained only by this file type. A PC won't gain enough protection if it simply blocks such files.

The company's representatives said that the risk of PC attack is much lower if the user works on Vista with Internet Explorer 7. The protected mode of the browser secures the computer against hackers' drive-by installations. This is because IE7 is restricted to where it is able to write files.
