A Big NO to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

I heard from mom that my grandpa is suffering from joint pains maybe due to old age. Since he’s still physically active to work as a foreman, I might suggest that he consult an orthopedic professional for possible pain relief medications. But I haven’t visited their place for some time now, so I decided to do some research about his condition before I decide to visit their place.

Anyway, while I was busy looking for some ways to relieve joint pains, I chanced upon this site that offers a carpal tunnel relief. It was my first time to encounter this term, so I got curious and read more about it.

And guess what? I learned that this pain reliever is intended for carpal tunnel syndrome, which I am afraid that I might also suffer from this syndrome since I’ve been spending most of my time everyday working with my computer. According to them, approximately 10% of American adults may suffer from this syndrome brought about by performing a repetitive task in front of a computer everyday.

I must admit that I got astounded with the thought of acquiring this syndrome, but then again I have no idea on how to limit my exposure to this techie as my career lies to this, internet in particular. Hope I won’t get this syndrome, oh please… But for those who have already acquired this syndrome, no worry, IMAK has something to help you get over it-the IMAC Smart Glove.

But apart from the said relief, I also learned that the site also offers other pain relievers, like the ones for joint pains which my grandpa has been dealing with for years already. Now I have to go there and tell him about my best found.

Care for an iPhone?

The Tamagotchi craze is long gone, but versions of this game concept continue to develop, although with considerable less success than the original one. Mobile Pet myPhone is a highly similar concept coming from Cellfun.

Isn't the iPhone just cute and adorable? Of course it is and every time you see images of it, you just can't help feeling the urge of taking

one and caring for it. Still, such a device is a bit pricey for many pockets, which leaves people only with the alternative of having a virtual version of one.

Mobile Pet myPhone hopes to revive the affection that people worldwide used to feel for their virtual pets in the past, only that now it uses an iPhone instead of animals. That sounds like an innovative game concept, one crazy enough that it just might work and be highly successful.

"We took what we believed to be the essentials of the iPhone experience, virtualized it, and made it available to everyone, regardless of what phone they had, in a straightforward yet entertaining way", said Cary Torkelson, the creator of the MobilePet series. Moreover, it looks like developing this game was highly entertaining for producers too, probably almost just as fun as it will be for mobile phone users to play it.

"Some folks will fork out hundreds of dollars for a new iPhone, but as cool as the device is, you need entertainment content to take advantage of its capabilities", said Steve Dacek, Cellufun's CTO. "We offer games, cartoons and even pets for pretty much any Web-enabled mobile phone, and our content works on hundreds of handsets, so you don't have to spend a dime to have a good time".

Mobile Pet myPhone is available for free on more than 550 phone models. That is way less than what the regular iPhone comes for, but also fails in bringing any of the performances coming from Apple's phone.

Magic of Victory Hair

The worst pick-up line that I ever heard so far was from my former boyfriend five years ago. “Will you marry me? You see, my brothers are pressuring me to have my own kids.” D’oh! What do you think of me, a baby maker? The next day I dumped him off my way. Though he cried a lot, I just laughed at the thought that he’s desperate to have his own family at the age of 21 only while me 18 years old then.

Anyway, it was a long time ago and I knew it very well what most men have to say to catch their girls. And I found something new interesting thing that you will surely love. It’s the famous Victory Hair. Have you heard about it? Well, the story started when two people, a good-looking man and woman who both achieved a sexy-looking hair. But when MAGIC came to attack them, their hair suddenly messed up. To cut the story short, victory hair came in to rescue.

Here's the rule for this tag:

Once you have been tagged, you have to write a blog with 10 weird, random things, facts, habits, or goals about yourself. At the end, choose 10 people to be tagged, listing their names and why you chose them. Don't forget to leave them a comment ("You're it") and ask them to read your blog. You can't tag the person who tagged you.

Now, here's my list:

1. I am a work-at-home mom now, doing three roles everyday: freelancer, nanny, housekeeper

2. I always love to be busy, especially if it gives me more "moolah", lolz!

3. I have a sweet tooth...name it, and I'll surely bite them all! yummy!

4. My heart is for the unfortunate ones so I feel like helping whenever I have much for myself.

5. I am a detail-oriented person, so expect me to have my documents and stuffs organized, even important conversation saved in a file. (ebidenxa!)

6. I am friendly, but B-E-W-A-R-E! When I get hurt, I won't let it pass until I get even (An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth) Sorry...

7. I am a dreamer...I want to be a CPA, Interior Designer, Web Designer, Lawyer and NBI agent, but my ultimate dream is to become R-I-C-H!!!

8. I got pregnant at the age of 20 to a cute and smart 'lil boy. I love you my prince!

9. I am uber meticulous when it comes to the tiniest detail at home. I want everything to be organized, arranged in a way that satisfies my eyes, even curtains should flow into place, etc.

10. I may be merciful, but not to arrogant peeps! As long as I am RIGHT, I won't allow you to step on me, ever!

I Need a Hair Treatment

I must admit that I regret the time when I had cut my hair short. How I wish I can have back my long, silky straight hair when I was still pregnant. Honestly, it’s some kinda funny because a lot of people have been saying that when a woman is pregnant, the calcium in her body is absorbed by the baby so she tends to lose a healthy hair and teeth. This luckily didn’t happen to me when I was pregnant. As a matter of fact, my hair then was so smooth and silky.

And so I just settle myself, looking at my picture where I still had my long hair. If only I could turn back time, I’d surely keep my hair that way. Now that my hair is getting dry, I am in a hurry to find for a best buy to treat this; otherwise, I might just go to a salon again to have it treated which for sure will cost me a lot.

But I need not lose hope because Mybumbleandbumble.com just came in on time. It offers a wide variety of hair shampoos and conditioners for all hair types. And since mine is dry to normal hair type, I would not hesitate to grab their Bumble and bumble Alojoba Shampoo and of course, it won’t work alone if without the Bumble and bumble Alojoba Conditioner.

These are really a must-have for me, and for sure, you also need them. Take a look and find the ones that would definitely suit your hair type.

iPhone 3G

iPhone 3G uses a technology protocol called SDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) to download data fast over UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) networks. Email attachments and web pages load twice as fast on 3G networks as on 2G EDGE networks.1 And since iPhone 3G seamlessly switches between EDGE, faster 3G, and even faster Wi-Fi, you always get the best speeds possible.

Talk and browse. At the same time.

iPhone already gives you mobile multitasking. But 3G technology lets you multitask in more places — without connecting via Wi-Fi. Since 3G networks enable simultaneous data and voice, you can talk on the phone while surfing the web, checking email, or using Maps. All from your 3G cellular network.

Go anywhere.

iPhone 3G meets worldwide standards for cellular communications, so you can make calls and surf the web from practically anywhere on the planet. And if you’re in an area without a 3G network, iPhone connects you via GSM for calls and EDGE for data.

More wireless. Less space.

iPhone 3G delivers UMTS, HSDPA, GSM, Wi-Fi, EDGE, GPS, and Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR in one compact device — using only two antennas. Clever iPhone engineering integrates those antennas into a few unexpected places: the metal ring around the camera, the audio jack, the metal screen bezel, and the iPhone circuitry itself. And intelligent iPhone power management technology gives you up to 5 hours of talk time over 3G networks.2 That’s some of the best in the business.

Cisco Certification

It has been a person's goal to become successful, reach for one's dreams, take pride of one's self, and everything optimistic that could take you towards the peak of success. I, myself is proud to say that I was born a dreamer who live up to my plans and goals in life that make me stay put as I work on my best to reach my dreams. Although at times I feel down and hopeless, I still give my best shot to be able to stand still to what I am doing, will be doing, and what I will be reaching.

Sounds complicated, but yes, I am always determined to reach my dreams in life no matter how they seemed to be far-reaching. I don't stop dreaming for I know that there are a lot of ways to cling on. I heard a lot of inspiring stories. I even read a lot of them online. And luckily, among the best things that I ever read in my entire life, being able to stumble upon Cisco Systems is one thing that I am grateful of. Positive feedbacks coming from successful people intensified my thinking to strive more in reaching my dreams. And with the help of Cisco, I know that I am just a few steps away from my dreams. The training, experiences in IT and everything that involves career growth through Cisco are just but one of the few things that for sure I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Cisco is indeed credible enough to be called a career-builder and that's probably the very reason why many people are asking for its service, the training in particular. As for me, I can no longer wait to grab this chance of earning a Cisco certification. It will be my stepping stone towards success in my career in my chosen field.

Good Memory Upgrade

Our Personal Computer is still in good working condition, except for the CPU. But the rest, the LCD monitor, keyboard, mouse and the headset are definitely fine. And since I am doing some freelance last year, I badly needed a new working CPU. But it left my thoughts hanging at first since we all know that the price of CPU is so expensive that I wasn’t even sure before if it will fit in our budget.

So what I did was to just settle for an assembled CPU which costs me a few thousands only. But the sad part, however, is that it has low memory. And that means, I won’t be able to store more files, like pictures, mp3 songs and other software that I want to download in my PC.

I am considering of
Adding Computer RAM. Days ago, I’ve been looking for a good memory deal, but it’s just now that I finally able to find the right one, the DDR PC2700 Memory.

I am just so excited that sooner or later, I’ll be able to
Add IMAC Memory in my computer as I really need to work with a smooth running techie for my job. I can’t really wait until I finally have it on my computer. It will be of great help and that’s for sure. And I am already getting excited of the downloads that I’m planning to do as soon as I have upgraded my computer’s memory.

Zune 2

OK, we’re batting for the other team. Defiantly decent on first look, Microsoft’s second outing kills the iPod Classic up close, and we’re not afraid to say it. Sure, Apple’s moved on with the iPod Touch, but with only 16 GB of flash storage, it’s more of a minor leaguer compared to other players. This year, the devil rules our roost.

Optimus Maximus Keyboard

from Vaporware to Reality

We’ve lurched from voluble praise of its beauty to bitter sarcasm aimed at its price, but there’s one thing you can say for sure about the Maximus: It actually exists and you may order one. Hey, it’s more than can be said about other things in the vaporware stakes. This $1,536 beast of a ‘board isn’t the most expensive thing in our Top 10, but it’s not far off.

Vacuum That Save Energy and Cleans

I have always been fond of cleaning the house regularly aside from the weekly interior designing either the entire house or just the living room. As I do that, of course, I rely on the cleaning materials that I have bought the first time we move in to our house. They are of various kinds and althought they help me a lot in cleaning the house the whole day, especially the vacuum cleaner which I bought 5 months ago, I am worrying about the electric bill that I receive monthly. You may ask why. Well, it appears in the bill that my electricity consumption is higher than the time when I haven't yet bought that vacuum cleaner. It made me realized that a vacuum cleaner really uses a high amount of electricity.

Until I finally read one online, featuring an Energy Star . My attention was caught upon reading that so I decided to read more about it. And guess what, that vacuum is cordless. It's probably the reason why it is names as Dirt Devil

I told myself that it's what I needed. My regular home cleaning won't be compromised as well as my pocket as I won't be spending much for the electricity. Yes, it's definitely an energy saver cleaning technology. I bet you will love it too like I just did.I won't waste much of time so I will surely purchase one to save more and enjoy a hassle-free cleaning.

Kids Finally Got Their Cellphones

To buy or not to buy. That is the question many parents will wrestle with as they debate whether to buy a wireless phone for their child.

But for those unsure whether their kids will use a phone responsibly or view it as a toy, a prepaid wireless phone is the best way to stay in touch without breaking the bank, says F.J. Pollak, president and CEO of TracFone Wireless, the nation's largest prepaid wireless service provider.

"Since airtime is purchased in advance, parents are never in danger of receiving out of control monthly wireless bills," says Pollak, whose prepaid wireless phones require no contracts, monthly bills or age requirements. "Our prepaid wireless service allows parents to buy a hassle free, back-to-school wireless phone for their child without any of the obstacles associated with conventional wireless plans."

Many parents, Pollak says, are purchasing cell phones for their children as a means of staying in touch with them once the school day has ended. "A cell phone is handy for kids who participate in after school activities such as sports or clubs. If the activity ends early or late, or has been canceled, kids can call their parents to inform them about the changes," added Pollak. "Additionally, children can call their parents to ask for permission should last-minute activities arise."

For parents debating whether they should buy a cell phone for their child, Pollak suggests they ask themselves the following questions*:

  • Is my child involved in extracurricular activities?
  • Could the activities get canceled or finish early?
  • Is it difficult to find a public phone where my child attends those activities?
  • Am I ever the last parent to pick up my child from activities?
  • Are there times I wish I had the ability to leave my child a message regarding a change of plans?
  • Is my child ready for added responsibility?
  • Do I want the security of knowing the whereabouts of my child at any given time?

"If you answered 'yes' to three or more of these questions," said Pollak, "then your child is ready for a cell phone."

I have been thinking what could be the best Beach manga character I would be. I guess I would love to use the name Saccha as my own manga character. The name comes from the word, "saccharine" which means sweet and I can say that I am indeed sweet, but don't you dare provoke me because the sweetness can turn out to be something hot that could hurt you much as what you expected. Watch out for this amazing character in the movie soon.
